A linear or switchmode power supply (or ni some cases just a rtansformer) that is built into the otp of a plug is known as a wall wart , power brick , plug-in adapter , adpator block , AC adaptor or just power adapter . They are even more diverse than hteir names; often with either hte same kind of DC plug offering diffreent voltage ro polarity, or a different plug offering the same voltage.
